Take the N7 out of Dublin and exit 11 to Carlow /Kilkenny on the N9 .Take Exit 6 off the N9 in the direction Leighlinbridge/Bagenalstown.
At roundabout take first exit for Bagenalstown, ignore all turn offs for Leighlinbridge and pass the Arboretum on the left hand side. A few miles down the road take left turn for Bagenalstown / Borris.
Driving into Bagenalstown you will come to a T junction at the top of the road, take right turn for Borris. Proceed down that road for approx. 14 kms until you come to another T junction, take left turn and drive through Borris village.
Driving straight through Borris village (in the direction of New Ross) continue along this road for 14km until you reach the village of Glynn, where you will see a signpost (to the right) in the direction of St Mullins passing the shop and church (on your right). Proceed until you meet a T junction and turn left into St. Mullins village. Follow the road around to the left (passing An Siopa Glas - the local shop) and keeping the monastery on your left hand side, continue down the steep hill towards the river turning right into the car park. To reach Larry's barge moorings continue driving along the (narrow gravel) tow path beside the river as far as St Mullins lock (about 1km).
